The Fernblick sits nestled in the landscape of St. Corona am Wechsel, with breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and valleys. Up to 125 guests celebrate here in a completely private atmosphere, and for the night there are 21 rooms for 50 guests plus a suite.
Michael Niederer-Wessely and Andreas Wessely turned the house from a sleeping beauty into a sought-after event location. The Fernblick is more than a hotel, it's a retreat that welcomes guests with open arms and offers the right backdrop for weddings, anniversaries and corporate events alike.
Setting and rooms
The location is simply unbeatable. Add to that a range of event spaces: the panoramic terrace, the dance café, the Tulum Bar and the rock bar. From May to October the Fernblick is available exclusively as an event location; in the low season also with individual room rental and full hotel service. Technically it leaves nothing to be desired:
- two projectors and screens
- a centrally controlled multi-room audio system and radio microphones
- playback for a jukebox, band or DJ
- fully dimmable lighting
- round tables, banquet and standing tables on site
A ceremony with a view
You can marry both civilly on site, with a registrar from Kirchberg am Wechsel, and in church, at the pilgrimage church of St. Corona right next door or in the churches of Kirchberg, about ten minutes away. The panoramic hall seats up to 125 people with a wide view and an adjoining bar. The heatable linden bower also lets up to 125 guests celebrate sheltered from the weather.

The Fernblick is known for its excellent service. The experienced, friendly team supports you through planning and delivery, from menu selection to decoration and entertainment. The chefs create tailored menus attuned to your wishes, whether a traditional wedding menu or an innovative buffet. For individual touches too, such as a themed decoration or special menu requests, the team realises your ideas with great attention to detail.

The Fernblick team works closely with you, from menu selection to floral arrangements. Your contact on site is the experienced wedding expert Bibi Schenk. For even more personal planning you can also bring in Julian Amenth · Weddings & Events, who offer a full service in close coordination with the house. Stationery and menu cards can come from Herz & Co., the flowers from Dolls Blumen Wien. After the celebration you need go nowhere: the comfortable, modern and cosy rooms and suites invite you to stay.
Things to do nearby
St. Corona am Wechsel offers plenty around the celebration: hiking and cycling in summer, skiing in winter. Ideal if your guests stay a whole weekend. The hotel is happy to help organise excursions and activities.
