How I work.

During the ceremony I stay in the background.: Once the registrar, priest or celebrant begins to speak, I move as little as possible. That way I don't distract you or your guests from the ceremony.
To get to know each other, I bring three complete weddings.: As finished albums, just as my couples ordered them. Then you see what a whole day looks like with me.
The morning after, you have your first images.: At breakfast, family and friends ask for photos first. You should not have to show phone snapshots, so 20 to 30 images arrive the day after the wedding.
For your couple portraits I plan an hour.: After getting ready, the ceremony and the congratulations, this is often your first time alone together to take in what has just happened. The couple portraits happen along the way.
You receive 600 to 650 images.: More overwhelms. For a kiss I take about 20 frames, and you get two or three of them.
I match the colors to your skin tones.: That is my top priority. I only recommend black and white for selected images. I'm happy to put together a selection for you, and the matching color image is always included.
Retouching is included, also on your guests' photos.: A pimple, a shaving cut or a bandage, I take away. The standard is freshly applied makeup.
My assistant does not take photos.: She is the second pair of eyes: she spots the trash can in the background, holds the reflector, straightens the dress and watches for anything else in the frame that would distract.
A teaser does not replace a videographer.: On request I cut a wedding teaser of 3 to 5 minutes from short clips. For a proper wedding film you need a videographer, which is a league of its own.

What happens between your inquiry and your album.

The initial call and the meeting

After a phone call of about 30 minutes, we meet for about 90 minutes in Vienna, and you page through three complete wedding albums. If you marry outside Vienna, we meet via Zoom. If you come from abroad, we skip the call and get to know each other in one longer Zoom conversation. Afterwards you know whether we are a good fit.

Your day, well prepared

Four weeks before the wedding we go through the timeline together: times, routes, light, the group photo after the recessional and your time as a couple.

The day itself

Where you need a pose, I show you. For the group photo after the recessional I say clearly who stands where, so you are quickly back with your guests.

What remains

The morning after, you get your first images; after 14 days, your gallery with the first album draft. Your album is handcrafted in Italy and comes with a lifetime guarantee.

Why you will not find a price list here.

I deliberately do not publish a price list, because it would not be right for most couples. My creative fee depends on how long I stay, which moments matter to you and what you would like on top. For a full-day reportage it includes the planning meeting four weeks before the wedding, 20 to 30 images the day after, your gallery of 600 to 650 images after 14 days and the retouching, with no travel fees anywhere in Austria. The album comes on top. If I stay with you until late in the evening, up to 11:30 p.m., it is my gift to you. In our initial call you get a first estimate, then my offer for exactly your day. If it does not fit your budget, just let me know, that is no problem at all. For civil ceremonies in Vienna, my creative fee starts at €990 for up to two hours.

Frequently asked questions about wedding photography.

How long do you stay on the wedding day?

From the morning until dinner, until the first dance or until midnight, depending on what matters to you. If the celebration runs longer than planned, I can extend. I will ask you first.

Do you work alone on the wedding day?

A photo assistant is always with me. They keep an eye on the dress, the background and the details, so I can focus entirely on you and your guests.

Do you use flash?

Yes, on purpose as a creative tool, for example for couple portraits in the evening and on the dance floor. During the ceremony I work with the light that is there and move as little as possible, so nothing disturbs the moment.

Do our guests get the photos too?

Yes. The online gallery with downloads for all your guests is included, every image edited and in 4K.

Do you also cover the get-together the evening before?

Gladly. Because I photograph only one wedding per weekend, I am flexible if there is a get-together the evening before or a family breakfast the day after.

What happens if you are ill on the wedding day?

Then I look for someone in my network of photographers to step in for me. You sign a separate contract with that person, and everything you have paid me is refunded.

Do you help us with the timeline?

Yes. Before the wedding we go through the timeline together: times, routes, light, the group photo after the recessional and your time as a couple. My sample timeline gives you a template.

Are the images retouched?

Yes, retouching is included, on your guests' images too. I remove a blemish, a shaving cut or a bandage. The standard is freshly applied makeup.
