Hi, I'm Michael

By the lake, in the reeds, in the old town.

Since 2014 I've photographed weddings in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland, deliberately only a few each year, so your day gets my full attention.

At Lake Neusiedl I plan the couple photos for the evening light, on the jetty or in the reeds, so you only step away from your guests briefly. Posing is part of it, and I show you how, so you don't look stiff in front of the camera. The rest of the day I photograph what happens on its own.

Where I've photographed in Burgenland.

das Fritz, Weiden am See. Judith & Roman got married on the terrace above the lake. For couple photos we went down to the water, into the tall grass and onto the jetty.

Rust on Lake Neusiedl. For Anita & Florian the day led from the church into the old town, they celebrated beneath a vaulted ceiling, and the couple photos were taken in the reeds and on the jetty.

Weingut Himmelblau, Rust. I photographed a wedding here in June 2025.

Halbturn Palace. I photographed a wedding at Halbturn Palace in May 2026.

Southern Burgenland. On the Hannersberg near Hannersdorf, portraits come with a wide view across the land.
