Wall Art

One image that changes
the room.

Some images don't belong in an album, but on a wall. Large, present, visible every day. As a fine art print from the same atelier that also crafts your albums.

“You don’t take a photograph, you make it.”

Ansel Adams

More than a print

A print shows a photo. Wall art becomes part of your home.

An image on the wall is a decision: this one moment should meet you every day, in passing, when you come home, over breakfast. That's exactly what wall art is made for. Not a poster in a frame, but an object that stands on its own.

Which image can carry that presence, and on which material it works best, we find out together. I know your photos and which of them want to be thought bigger.

From the selection to the mounting: all from one hand.

What sets every piece apart

Four things you only see up close.

Museum quality

Printed in archival fine art quality with deep blacks and precise color. For around a hundred years of color, without fading.

Seamless wood panel

Every image sits on a solid unibody wooden panel, cleanly finished to the edge. No staples, no raw frame, beautiful from every side.

Invisible mounting

The hanger is molded straight into the panel. The image hangs perfectly level on the wall, with no visible hardware and no effort.

Presence in the room

Two depths, around three or six centimeters, give the image body. On request I sign a certificate of authenticity on the back.

The atelier

Crafted where your albums are made.

Your wall art is made at Graphistudio in Italy, one of the most renowned fine art ateliers in the world. During a factory tour I saw for myself the care that goes into the work: from print preparation to the materials to the very last edge.

The same signature that makes an album a one of a kind piece is in every print. That's why I know exactly what happens to your image once you have chosen the material.

The choice

Three materials, one craft: acrylic glass, metal, canvas.

Every image works differently on every material. Acrylic glass gives depth and shine, metal an elegant shimmer, canvas a calm, warm surface. Which one suits your image and your home, we decide together.

The brilliant one

Acrylic glass.

Your image is placed behind ultra clear acrylic glass with a UV filter. The result is enormous depth and a color range that glows exactly as you saw the image on screen. No sharpening, no distortion.

The surface comes glossy, with a lively play of light and reflection, or anti glare matte for calm clarity. Two acrylic thicknesses make the image step out of the wall.

The refined one

Metal.

Here the colors are infused by sublimation directly into a high quality aluminum plate. The image becomes one with the material: scratch resistant, waterproof and, over the years, unchanged in brilliance.

On a white base the colors glow most intensely, on a silver base the brushed metal shimmers through the image and gives it a refined, almost three dimensional character. Five surfaces, from high gloss to satin matte, are available.

The calm one

Canvas.

Real cotton canvas, no plastic substitute. On it an archival twelve color print with deep blacks and the finest detail, in museum quality.

An exclusive, anti glare Touch finish makes the surface velvety and easy on the eyes as well as under the fingers. The canvas is mounted on a non deforming panel, without staples, it doesn't warp and never ripples.

Made for your hands

The whole day, to leaf through.

What goes on the wall is the one grand gesture. The whole story of your day lives in the album, hand bound in the very same atelier.
