Why Michael Kobler

True colors, calm guidance.

  • Unobtrusive in the background. No posing, no interruptions. You enjoy your day, I capture it.
  • Colors that feel like you. No preset, no filter, no distortion. Your sky stays blue, the dress stays white. Every image looks like your day.
  • Every location. Every light. More than ten years of weddings in Vienna. I know the places, the timelines and the moments that happen when everything falls into place.
  • Sneak peek in 24 hours, gallery in 14 days. First images the day after your wedding. The complete gallery two weeks later, with a free online gallery for your guests.
  • An album that lasts. Handcrafted in Italy, with a lifetime guarantee. Not a mass product. An object that will look the same in twenty years as it does today.
  • Customer for Life. Our collaboration doesn't end with the gallery. Anniversaries, family portraits, new milestones. Once a couple, always part of the program.

My expertise for your Vienna wedding

Every location has its own light. I know both.

Vienna is one of Europe's densest wedding cities. Historic palaces, sweeping parks, hidden courtyards and places you only know if you work here regularly.

I've photographed weddings in Vienna for more than ten years. Civil ceremonies at the Old City Hall, at Palais Coburg and at the Ottakring registry office. Church weddings at Karlskirche and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Celebrations at the Schreiberhaus, Palais Liechtenstein or Laxenburg Palace just outside the city.

Every location has its own light and its own rhythm.

Good to know

Frequent questions about wedding photography in Vienna.

How much does a wedding photographer in Vienna cost?

Full wedding coverage starts at 3,600 euros. This includes photographic coverage from the ceremony onwards, a sneak peek within 24 hours and the complete gallery after 14 days. For civil ceremonies there is a separate offer starting at 990 euros.

How early should you book a wedding photographer in Vienna?

Popular dates in Vienna, especially Saturdays from May to October, are often booked 12 to 18 months in advance. Enquiring a year before your wedding is realistic. For dates less than six months away, it's still worth asking.

Which locations in Vienna are best for wedding photos?

Among the strongest locations are Laxenburg palace park for open space and soft light, Palais Coburg for elegant architecture, the Volksgarten with the Theseus temple, and the Schreiberhaus for nature-adjacent celebrations at the city's edge. The best location is the one that fits you.

How does documentary wedding coverage work?

We start with a free get-to-know call. An engagement session follows before the wedding. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively in the background. The first images arrive as a sneak peek within 24 hours, the complete gallery after 14 days. More about documentary coverage.

Do you also photograph outside Vienna?

Yes. I cover weddings across Austria and the entire EU. Multi-day weddings at home and abroad are possible. See also: Wedding photographer Lower Austria and Wedding photographer Austria.
