The Fernblick sits nestled in the landscape of St. Corona am Wechsel, with breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and valleys. Up to 125 guests celebrate here in a completely private atmosphere, and for the night there are 21 rooms for 50 guests plus a suite.
Michael Niederer-Wessely and Andreas Wessely turned the house from a sleeping beauty into a sought-after event location. The Fernblick is a true retreat: it welcomes its guests warmly and suits weddings, anniversaries and corporate events alike.
Setting and rooms
From up here you look out far over mountains and valleys. Add to that a range of event spaces: the panoramic terrace, the dance café, the Tulum Bar and the rock bar. From May to October the Fernblick is available exclusively as an event location; in the low season also with individual room rental and full hotel service. Technically it leaves nothing to be desired:
- two projectors and screens
- a centrally controlled multi-room audio system and radio microphones
- playback for a jukebox, band or DJ
- fully dimmable lighting
- round tables, banquet and standing tables on site
A ceremony with a view
You can marry both civilly on site, with a registrar from Kirchberg am Wechsel, and in church, at the pilgrimage church of St. Corona right next door or in the churches of Kirchberg, about ten minutes away. The panoramic hall seats up to 125 people with a wide view and an adjoining bar. The heatable linden bower also lets up to 125 guests celebrate sheltered from the weather.
First-class service and cuisine
The Fernblick is known for its excellent service. The experienced, friendly team supports you through planning and delivery, from menu selection to decoration and entertainment. The chefs create tailored menus attuned to your wishes, whether a traditional wedding menu or an innovative buffet. For individual touches too, such as a themed decoration or special menu requests, the team realizes your ideas with great attention to detail.
What a wedding at the Fernblick costs
The Fernblick doesn't publish per-person package prices. Each celebration is quoted individually, which comes down in part to the rental model: from May to October the house is let exclusively. On your weekend the whole Fernblick is yours, rooms, halls and bar included. The tailored quote covering exclusive rental, menu and drinks comes directly from wedding expert Bibi Schenk.
Only the room rates are public: rooms run 150 to 190 euros per night depending on category, the large suite 260 euros, each with breakfast from the neighboring organic farm. That lets you rough out the accommodation share for your guests; the rest goes into the personal quote. Things to do nearby
St. Corona am Wechsel offers plenty around the celebration: hiking and cycling in summer, skiing in winter. Ideal if your guests stay a whole weekend. The hotel is happy to help organize excursions and activities.
